Job Brief
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Web Developers to join our dynamic team at Arif overseas traders. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our web-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and efficient websites and web applications that meet our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Full-cycle Web Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Develop and implement responsive websites and web applications from scratch, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
2. Front-End Development: Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Implement modern web design principles, ensuring seamless navigation and user experience across different devices and platforms.
3. Back-End Development: Build robust and scalable server-side applications using programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or .NET. Develop and integrate databases, APIs, and other web services to support dynamic content and functionality.
4. Content Management Systems (CMS): Customize and integrate CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla to develop and manage website content, templates, and plugins. Ensure smooth content updates and maintain version control.
5. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
6. Collaborative Development: Work closely with designers, UX/UI specialists, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements, user interface, and functionality. Collaborate on code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
7. Web Security: Implement best practices and industry standards to ensure the security and integrity of web applications. Address vulnerabilities, apply security patches, and employ secure coding techniques to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
8. Documentation and Maintenance: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and manuals. Provide ongoing website maintenance and support, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and updates as required.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
4. Strong understanding of back-end technologies, databases, and web application frameworks (e.g., PHP, Python, Java, .NET, SQL, Laravel, Django, Spring).
5. Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) and their customization.
6. Solid knowledge of web security principles, protocols, and best practices.
7. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Continuous learning mindset to keep up with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
