Job Summary
We are seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to analyze, evaluate, and improve information systems that support business operations and organizational objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with management, business users, and technical teams to identify system requirements, recommend technology solutions, and support the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes, workflows, and information systems to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and automation.
- Consult with management, stakeholders, and end users to gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and system design recommendations.
- Evaluate existing software applications, databases, and infrastructure to identify enhancement opportunities and optimize system performance.
- Design, develop, and recommend technology solutions that align with organizational goals and operational requirements.
- Coordinate system implementation activities, software upgrades, and integration projects across multiple platforms.
- Perform systems testing, validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze database structures, reporting requirements, and system data flows to support business intelligence and operational reporting.
- Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user manuals, workflow diagrams, and project reports.
- Collaborate with software developers, database administrators, network engineers, and IT support personnel to implement and maintain system solutions.
- Monitor system performance, identify technical issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards, data protection requirements, and organizational technology policies.
- Prepare recommendations, presentations, and reports for management regarding technology initiatives, system enhancements, and business process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related Systems Analyst position; OR
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
